LVS looks to get back to their winning ways at Prestonwood Christian tonight for a 6pm varsity kick-off. The Lady Vikings dropped to 1-2-0 last night in district play as Lynch stole a 1-0 victory from them on a Jamie Jeffery goal in the 60th minute. Katy Hirschfeld and Gwennie Puente each had quality chances to equalize but the Lynch GK, Erin Scott denied both chances. The Lady Vikings will play Lynch again on January 7th in Dallas.
The JV team had little problem with Bishop Lynch as they scored 4 goals in the first 20 minutes of play and held that led the rest of the night. Lynch did narrow the score in the final 5 minutes but it was not enough as the Lady Vikes won 4-1 and improve to 2-0-1 on the season.
