SMU Women's Soccer
SMU Mustangs Senior, Mallory Baum will look to lead her team into the C-USA Championship Match with a victory tonight against #20 UCF at 7:00pm at University Field in El Paso.  They advanced to tonight's match with a 3-1 victory over C-USA #2 seed Rice on Wednesday.

Top-seeded Colorado College will face No. 5 seed Tulsa at 4:30 p.m. MDT.  The championship title match is set for Sunday, Nov. 4, at 12 p.m. (MST) and will be aired on the CBS Sports Network. Semifinals will be streamed through the C-USA All-Access package. Conference USA's official website, www.ConferenceUSA.com, will provide updates, box scores, recaps and photos and there will also be updates on Conference USA's official Facebook page and Twitter account @ConferenceUSA1.

Baum has had a memorable senior season, and the Conference USA added another honor to Baum's growing list last Wednesday. The Keller, Texas, native was named to the C-USA All-Academic First Team, the league office announced.  An electrical engineering major with a 3.61 GPA, was named First Team All-C-USA on Tuesday. The senior's stellar season was also honored earlier in the year with a nomination for the Senior CLASS Award in September. Baum has 10 points (2g, 6a) in 2012, and is tied for seventh in the C-USA in assists. One of Baum's goals was a penalty kick game-winner against UTEP on Sept. 28.  Baum's selection marks the third consecutive year that SMU has had a player on the C-USA All-Academic First Team.
