The winter weather continues to stay around and the Lady Vikings continue to improve to their 24th win as they got on the board early and often at Waco ISD Stadium. Temperatures dropped in some places, 50 degrees from the last time the Lady Vikings took the field."It really was a nice night to play, it is suppose to be cold during soccer season, isn't it," commented head coach, Jay Fitzgerald. With the exception of last weeks match vs St. Pius X, the Lady Vikings have played in sub freezing weather all year long.
The cold didn't effect the players tonight. Gwennie Puente, Jordan Gamboa and Elena Guerra all scored multiple goals while Elizabeth Havenhill, Omar Rodenbaugh, Sarah Brown, and Marissa Baldasti scored one a piece.
Everyone contributed in allowing the Lady Vikings to improve to 24-1-5.
Friday's match will be played at Awty International School. Kick-off will be at 2:30pm.
